Updated: Sep 24, 2020

Ever heard of the all-in-one business platform Kajabi? Since its launch in 2010, the CEO's have worked very closely with their customers to keep improving and fine tuning what is now one of the best website builders available on the internet.

I don't know about you, but this is the kind of company I admire. The fact they're not too big time to be tight-knit with their customers and they boastfully put their success down to their users.

Nevertheless, Kajabi is so much more than just a website builder, here are some of the most helpful features included in the lowest tier of Kajabi pricing:

  • Create and automate email sequences - broadcast to your email list as often as you like and pitch your products in your funnels.

  • Build and integrate your very own blog - Create content and build your SEO to get more website traffic.

  • Build and sell your very own online courses and membership sites - start earning from Kajabi and keep 100% of your revenue.

  • Create pipelines - effortlessly take leads all the way through your funnels.

  • Automations - use triggers to make your business as hands-off as you want.

  • Analytics - track your opt-ins, sales, email sequence performance and conversion rates.

There are 3 tiers of Kajabi pricing that allow you more features, products, contacts and admins the higher up the price range you go. In the basic Kajabi pricing tier, you are given:

  • 3 Online Products To Create And Sell

  • Unlimited Landing Pages

  • Unlimited Marketing Emails

  • 10,000 Contacts Storage

  • 1000 Active Members For Your Products

  • 1 Website And Admin User

This is everything you need as a 'solopreneur' to create a passive income styled online business selling courses. Available at $149/month ($119 if billed annually) this is a pretty fine investment to make.

Better still, Kajabi make this as easy as possible for you by holding your hand through their 28-day challenge, available here.

Most website builders you sign up to for a free trial offer you little-to-no support. This leaves you no better off when the trial ends as you've not been able to make any progress.

In the Kajabi 28 Day Challenge, you get emailed a free tutorial video every day, teaching you another aspect of the platform and how to get the best out of it.

This challenge is actually designed to help you create and sell your first online course in just 4 weeks. Starting off from having no idea, to making your first $1000 online.

Usually Kajabi offer you a free 14-day trial, however if you sign up using this special link below, you'll get

double that amount PLUS you will be given the 28 Day Kajabi challenge.

Earning Passive Income Using Kajabi

If you enjoy the free trial and want to continue reaping the benefits of Kajabi, as I mentioned earlier; even the basic Kajabi pricing tier gives you all the features you need to run a passive income style online business.

How do you create passive income though? I am no pioneer, but this is what business coach and successful business owner Graham Cochrane taught me.

Step 1- Release Content

The first key to passive income is building an audience, and the best way to do that is by releasing content consistently, at least on a weekly basis. This can include a podcast, blog or YouTube channel.

This content needs to be relevant to what you sell and offer value to the same audience your products appeal to. Releasing content is what will build likeness and trust with your audience.

You can very easily create blog posts with Kajabi and the SEO information is very easy to fill out and optimise. The more articles you release, the greater your chance of being discovered by a large audience on Google.

Step 2 - Offer a Lead Magnet

Once people are seeing your content, it's the perfect chance to overdeliver and offer more value to your audience. In every podcast, video or blogpost, you should pitch/promote a lead magnet.

A lead magnet is a free, downloadable digital product such as a checklist, cheat-sheet, PDF guide, tutorial that you offer in exchange for someone's email address. This is where you start building an email list.

Once again, this needs to be relevant to what you sell and appeal to the same  audience. The lead magnet should solve an immediate problem of your audience for it to add the most value and be effective.

It's very easy to create a lead magnet opt in page on Kajabi, with a range of designs and themes. This is where people will fill out a form and give you their email address to receive their lead magnet, either by email or on another landing page.

Step 3 - Create An Automated Email Sequence

You can now let automations do the hard work for you, firstly by triggering an email to be sent to someone after they opt in, sending them the lead magnet. This isn't all you trigger to send to someone who opts in for your lead magnet though.

In fact, you will automate a trigger to send them a full sequence of emails, one per day from 5 to 14 days. The idea of this email sequence is to overdeliver and send your subscribers more free content after they download the lead magnet.

Example:

  • Day 0 (Day they opt in): Send them the lead magnet

  • Day 1: Overdeliver

  • Day 2: Overdeliver

  • Day 3: Overdeliver, Introduce Course

  • Day 4: Pitch Course

  • Day 5: Pitch Course

This builds trust and adds more value to your audience. Then after a couple of days, you smoothly transition your email into a pitch for your paid products. This gives your audience the option to purchase your online course(s).

Because this is all automated, this is essentially what makes the income passive. All you need to focus on is creating weekly content to build an audience, to grow your email list, to get more people in your email sequence being pitched your products.

It takes time to create a course, a lead magnet, a website, write sales copy, create email sequences that work. The sooner you start though, the quicker you'll be generating passive income, and Kajabi is the perfect tool to help you do that.

Start the Kajabi 28 Day Challenge today, use the free trial to get your first few sales, cover your subscription fee and then its all profit form there. With the current global pandemic, there's never been a better time to build an online business with Kajabi.
